A psychotherapist in Dallas for over 20 years, and editor for the Erickson Foundation Newsletter for over ten years, she has authored three books, and numerous chapters and articles about hypnosis and Ericksonian Psychotherapy. Her latest book is "Milton H. Erickson, An American Healer" with co-editor Bradford Keeney.
An Approved Consultant for the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis, Betty Alice teaches and trains throughout the world. Keynote Speaker as well as faculty for many international and national congresses and conferences, she has won various awards for her teaching including the prestigious Franco Grannone Prize from the Centro Italiano di Ipnosi Clinica Sperimentale.
Betty Alice Erickson has had decades of experience with hypnosis - she began serving as a demonstration subject for her father, Milton H. Erickson, in the 1950's.
